Tyler Batiste named Moody Business Fall 2020 Outstanding Marketing Graduate

Tyler Batiste is the Fall 2020 Department of Marketing Outstanding Graduate for the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. He is a marketing major with a minor in hospitality management. He earned a 3.67 GPA.

Batiste has been on the President’s List and Dean’s List. He is the recipient of the University Program Council Member of the Semester award and LSU Multicultural Student Leadership Conference certificate of educational excellence. He earned the Certification in Hotel Analytics (CHIA) for 2020-2025. Batiste is a graduate of the Ragin’ Leadership Academy.

Batiste has served as the Director, Vice President, and Marketing Director of the University Program Council, Vice President and Sponsorship Chair of the Black Male Leadership Association, and the Marketing and Recruitment Director for Emerging Leaders Summit. Batiste has also been Vice Polemarch of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

His community services activities include volunteering with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Games of Acadiana, Earthshare Gardens, Broussard Middle School College and Career Fair, and St. Joseph Diner.

After graduation, Batiste plans to pursue his Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship and hopes to open his own business.
