Louisiana Entrepreneurship & Economic Development Center

The Louisiana Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Center develops regional innovation clusters, advances high-growth entrepreneurship, and cultivates innovation.

What We Do

The LEED Center serves the entire state of Louisiana providing technical assistance and support to businesses and economic development agencies, entrepreneurs (students, faculty and within communities), rural and underserved minority populations that are not connected to economic development resources and regional commercialization efforts.

What We Offer

Our team focuses on providing technical assistance and consultation to decision makers and entrepreneurs. We engage with agencies and entrepreneurs in rural communities like Delcambre, Loreauville, Breaux Bridge, and Ville Platte. We provide outreach to entities in community strategic planning (Delcambre, Crowley, Youngsville, Acadia Parish), workforce development (LEDA, CGI, Opportunity Machine), new product development (university centers), supply chain innovations (USDA/seafood industry), and marketing plans (Hercules Liftboats, Faith House of Acadiana, GatorTail Outboard Motors).

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen and diversify economic development in Louisiana by providing technical assistance and support through strategic planning, impact analyses, feasibility studies and market research.
