Women entrepreneurs help fuel economic growth in communities across the U.S. and that is especially true in Lafayette and across Acadiana.  We are fortunate to have such a rich spirit of innovation, of problem solving, and contribuiting to the community.

Accelerate Women's Entrepreneurship is a start-up and small business program that focuses on female entrepreneurs... their dreams, ideas, and business interests.  The curriculum is designed to grow and expand your business knowledge while building your network by spending time with other passionate entrepreneurs, 

The program is made possible through a partnership between Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) and the LEED Center.

Who Should Apply?

Existing businesses
People who want to turn a side job into a full-time business
People who have ideas for a business

Opportunity to build a network with other business leaders

Guidance & consulting after the 3 week program

*Registration waivers up to $425 are available to all applicants
*Remaining fees are paid prior to program beginning
