Meet the LEED Team

Dr. Geoffrey Stewart

Dr. Geoffrey Stewart is the LEED Center Director and the Moody Companies/BORSF Endowed Chair in Regional Business Development. He has 15+ years of experience in applied research and MBA course service projects to augment regional economic development initiatives focusing on recovery and resilience within Louisiana communities.In July 2018, Dr. Stewart’s research team received a USDA Rural Development grant to develop an economic development strategy for the seafood industry in Coastal Acadiana parishes.

Dr. Ramesh Kolluru

Dr. Ramesh Kolluru is the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Economic Development at the University. Dr. Ramesh Kolluru is a nationally recognized leader in the application of computing and informatics research to solve challenges in health care, disaster management, supply chain management, public-private partnerships, big data analytics, among others. During his research career, he founded three premiers applied research centers at UL Lafayette, including the nation's only National Science Foundation "big data" center of excellence; he also generated more than $65 million in research grants and contracts. Under his leadership, the University translates applied research to stimulate innovation and economic development in the region.

Jonathan Shirley

Jonathan Shirley is the LEED Center Program and Operations Manager.  Jonathan works with the team to guide programs that will impact the university and community in the realm of entrepreneurship and leadership.  Prior to joining the LEED Center, Jonathan spent time working for the University of Houston Bauer College of Business in Leadership and with the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship.

Kevin Guillory

   Kevin Guillory serves as the LEED Center Operations & Community Engagement Coordinator. Kevin has over ten years of experience in Higher Education as well as experience in Human Resources, Logistics & Supply Chain, and Non-Profit Management. He coordinates the activity and logistics of the LEED Center and assists in preparing grants and contracts. Kevin also oversees all aspects of recruiting, development, management, and execution of Accelerate Northside and its accompanying mentoring program  Kevin is a two-time graduate from the Moody College of Business with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing along with his MBA. He is the recipient of the Top 20 Under 40 Young Leaders in Acadiana award in 2017 and is a member of Leadership Lafayette Class XXXV.
