Madeleine Comeaux is the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration Outstanding Graduate for Fall 2018. She was also selected as the Outstanding Graduate from the Department of Marketing and Hospitality Management. She is a Hospitality Management major with a 3.92 GPA.
Comeaux is the recipient of the Dr. Ray P. Authement Valedictorian Scholarship, Krewe de Gabriel Endowed Scholarship in Hospitality Management, Lance CPL. Daniel L. Lewis Memorial Endowed Scholarship, and College of Business Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship. Her GPA has earned her a spot on the President’s List every semester as well as an invitation to the Honor’s Convocation Awards Ceremony.
She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Ragin’ Hospitality Association, a peer mentor with the Ragin’ Cajun Catholics Discipleship Team. Comeaux’s community service includes volunteering with The Big Event, Family Adventure Day, Cinderella Project, Festival International 5K, and the Disney Program’s Give Kids the World Village.
Comeaux participated in the Disney College Program for two semesters where she was recognized as a “Service from the Heart” Cast Member for her service to a guest. She also participated in a five week French Immersion program in Nova Scotia, Canada where she was recognized with the Outstanding Student award.
After graduation, Comeaux plans to work with Walt Disney Company in the College Program while seeking a Lodging Management internship and eventually Resort Guest Service Operations Manager position.
She is the daughter of Catherine and Brian Comeaux of Duson, Louisiana.
