Kaylie Fabre has been selected as the Outstanding Graduate for the Marketing and Hospitality Department in the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration for the Spring 2018 semester. Fabre has maintained a 3.84 GPA and has received the UL Academic Excellence Scholarship, United Way Volunteer Scholarship, Past President’s Parley of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 69 Endowed Scholarship, Claire and Louis Tauzin Scholarship, Krewe of Bonaparte Scholarship, and the Mary Wright Scholarship. She has attended the Honor’s Convocation Awards Ceremony every year since 2016 where she received her Certificate of Achievement for Academic Excellence.

Fabre has also been an active member of the Ragin’ Hospitality Association for two years and has also been a very active member of the Lafayette community. She has volunteered for many events including Festival International, the Greater Acadiana Heart Walk, Festival Acadiens, the Acadiana Food and Wine Soiree and many more. In addition to studying abroad in Costa Rica, she has also traveled to Chicago and New York City for conventions with Ragin’ Hospitality and other members of her program.

Her future plans include becoming a Notary Public and working in the hospitality industry of New Orleans. She plans on working in sales, marketing, and consulting and would eventually like to go back to school for her MBA or to attend law school.

She is the daughter of Andrea and Brian Fabre of Luling, La.
