Natalie Berzas has been selected as the Fall 2017 Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Management at the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.

While maintaining a 3.82 cumulative GPA, Berzas has received many scholarships and awards including the UL Lafayette Centennial Scholarship and TOPS Honors Scholarship for three and a half years and has recently received the Vincent Cagelosi Endowed Scholarship in Management as well being included on the Dean’s List every semester from Fall 2014 to Fall 2016.

Berzas has also been a member of organizations such as Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, the UL Lafayette Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda where she acted as secretary for two years, Louisiana Phi Beta Lambda where she was state secretary/treasurer for one year, and Future Business Leaders of America- Phi Beta Lambda, for which she placed first in Management Concepts and Business Communications on the state level in Spring 2015.

Berzas also has plenty of experience in volunteer work. For the past four years, she has participated in the Trash Bash in Opelousas as well as organized a toy drive for children in need at the Chase Bank where she currently works.

Throughout her college career, Berzas has never stopped working. From being a manager at McDonald’s and substitute teaching in her freshman year to managing at Stage in Opelousas her sophomore year, Berzas has continued a 30-hour work week on top of her school schedule and is even graduating a semester early. Currently she is working as a teller at Chase Bank, where she is a top performer in her district every month. After graduation, she plans on continuing her education through the masters programs offered through her employer. In utilizing her business experience and education, she plans to apply for promotional opportunities locally or abroad.

She is the daughter of Myron and Trudy Berzas of Port Barre, La.
