Hanh "Annie" Vu has been selected as the Spring 2016 Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Marketing and Hospitality Management at the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.

Maintaining a 3.9 cumulative GPA, Vu has been recognized on the President’s List six times and the Dean’s List one time. She was also the recipient of four scholarships throughout her college career. Vu is a member of the University Program Council, International Student Council, Vietnamese Student Association, Infinity Dance Crew and Delta Sigma Pi. She was recently crowned Miss International 2016 and also received the prestigious President's Leadership Award.

Along with her commitments to the university, Vu has also volunteered at several events and organizations throughout the local community including The Big Event, Amelia Mano Nursing Home, and Festival International de Louisiane.

After graduation, Vu plans to work in the United States for a few years in order to gain professional experience in the business world before moving back to Vietnam to contribute the knowledge she gained to her home country. Vu hopes to help bring her country out of poverty and improve living conditions in Vietnam.
