Moody College of Business launches slogan competition
Wed, 08/27/2014 - 5:43pmThe B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration launched a slogan competition Tuesday open to all University of Louisiana at Lafayette students, faculty and staff. Prizes include $1500 in gift certificates to Best Buy with the top entry receiving $500.
“This competition allows the creativity of our students, faculty and staff across the UL Lafayette campus to capture the spirit of the remarkable programs Moody College of Business offers,” said Dean Joby John.
Any participant can submit his/her sole entry via the official webform from September 8 through September 17, 2014. The slogan contest also includes four $50 gift certificates “hidden” within the Moody College web site beginning August 26th, with random winners being selected during the competition period.
Appearing on The Princeton Review’s 300 Best Business Schools consecutively since 2008, the College offers nine undergraduate degrees and multiple graduate programs including a Masters of Business Administration, an MBA with Health Care Administration concentration, an Executive MBA and the newly launched Masters in Accounting and Graduate Business Certificate programs.
Besides the quality education at Moody College offers its 2500 students, programs including the Northwestern Mutual Sales and Research Lab, AcceleRagin’ Business Incubator, and Louisiana Business Challenge provide essential real-life and entrepreneurial skills to both collegiate and high school students.
Dean John will serve on the judge committee and encourages both students within and outside the College to learn more about its achievements. “A business school of our stature must celebrate its successes, and Moody College of Business students and alumni deserve no less.”
