C.R. ‘Rusty’ Cloutier has been president and CEO of the Lafayette, Louisiana based Midsouth Bank for over twenty-five years. He was a director of the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s New Orleans branch for six years, has served as the chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America and has appeared before Congress and CNBC.

Dr. Keith Watson
Associate Professor, Economics, UL Lafayette

Dr. John Keith Watson has taught economics at UL for 21 years and held previous visiting positions at Oklahoma State University and Auburn University. He received his Ph.D. from Texas A & M University. He has written numerous papers on economic policy and presented several reports on macroeconomic conditions to national and regional audiences.

Dr. Linus Wilson
Assistant Professor, Finance, UL Lafayette

Dr. Linus Wilson has written several academic papers on the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the banking sector rescue efforts, and the too big to fail problem. Dr. Wilson’s research has been covered and cited in over one hundred news stories on the bank rescues in news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Bloomberg, and National Public Radio.
