This unique competition brings high school students across Louisiana together to gain valuable, real life experience and become more involved in their communities.
For the 2015 competition, The Lieutenant Governor's Office, Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration are teaming up with sponsors to create an engaging and challenging event that benefits local retail grocers and the student competitors alike.
Details:
- The competition invites all high school students in the State of Louisiana to design a promotional plan for Louisiana Seafood in grocery stores.
- Students must use a $0 budget and create an innovative marketing plan to teach grocers and retailers how to promote and increase sales of Louisiana Seafood via social media.
- Students compete for scholarships to be distributed across the winning teams. These scholarships are from sponsors and matching grants from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.
