Katelyn Clay is the Fall 2019 Outstanding Graduate for the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. A marketing major with a 4.0 GPA, Clay was among five finalists for the award.

She has been on the President’s List every semester since Fall 2016. Clay is the recipient of the UL Lafayette Valedictorian Scholarship, UL Lafayette Academic Scholarship, Phillip’s 66 Dependent Scholarship, Past Presidents’ Parley of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 69 Endowed Scholarship, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Onebane Memorial Endowed Scholarship, and the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration Department of Marketing & Hospitality Scholarship.

Clay has been a member of the UL Lafayette Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association, UL Lafayette Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter, University Honors College, and the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration Student Executive Board.

During her time with the UL Lafayette Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter, she volunteered 180 hours working at Restore, the construction site, and running education and advocacy events on campus. She received the Bronze Presidential Service Award from the Lafayette Habitat for Humanity affiliate for volunteering over 100 hours in one year.  She also volunteered over 200 hours in construction and marketing for other chapters in Elizabethtown, KY, Newburgh, NY and Lake Charles.

After graduation, Clay plans to work at the McIlhenny Company as an International Associate Brand Manager to assist in managing the sales and marketing of TABASCO® Brand products in 197 markets.

She is the daughter of David and Cindy Clay of Ragley, Louisiana.
