The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration’s Service Chevrolet Ragin’ Sales team recently placed sixth in the Russ Berrie Institute 11th Annual National Sales Challenge held at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.

Sureena Patel, a general studies senior from Lafayette, La., competed against 64 other students and finished in the Top 10 in the Sales Challenge.

Over 100 international and national sales students from 34 universities participated in the event. These students had the opportunity to network with sponsoring companies whose representatives served as judges.

The Service Chevrolet Ragin’ Sales Team has placed as one the top ten competing schools at the annual competition since 2014.

Additional team members included Wendy Hebert, a marketing senior from Lafayette, La., in addition to alternates Logan LaHood, a marketing senior from Lafayette, La., and Tyson Trahan, a management senior from New Iberia, La.

Dr. Brent Baker, assistant professor of marketing and sales program director, mentored this year’s team.
