As part of the University of Lafayette's AcceleRagin' program, the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration is hosting Jason Lucash, co-founder of OrigAudio and Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2012.
Three months after launching, OrigAudio was named to Time Magazine’s “50 Best Inventions of 2009” list and appeared on ABC’s hit start-up business show, “Shark Tank”, which gained worldwide recognition for the company. It was named to the prestigious INC. Magazine “500 Fastest Growing Companies in America” list in 2013.
Within this presentation of "The Unconventional American Dream" Lucash will share how to make an idea for a product come to life, how to build a multi-million dollar company without spending a dime on marketing, and last but not least, what it was like to be on ABC's hit show "Shark Tank" and not get eaten alive. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Lucash’s visit coincides with the Gulf Coast Young Professional Summit, which will also feature guest speaker Dr. Lise Anne Slatten, interim associate dean of Academic Programs at the Moody College of Business.
This event is open to all UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff. Seating is limited; please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6:00p.m.
