Code of Ethics

Because personal integrity is the foundation of a successful educational environment, Moody College of Business students are expected to engage in the highest ethical behavior. Without this orientation, your grades and your degree will lack value and meaning. We expect each student to uphold these strict ethical standards of honesty, integrity and personal responsibility.

  • Students will not engage in or condone academic deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentations.
  • Students will not give, receive, or use unauthorized or prohibited information, resources or assistance on an examination or assignment.
  • Students will not commit plagiarism (e.g., representing another’s work, in whole or in part, as one’s own) on any examination or assignment.
  • Students will not submit an examination or assignment written, taken, researched, developed, prepared, or created by another person, in whole or in part.
  • Students will not submit an examination or assignment that the student has or will submit for credit in another course, without express approval from the professors in each of the courses.
  • Students will not prevent or interfere with the learning process of others in the environment.
  • Students will not damage any college property or misappropriate any college resources, including technology.
